The following are just a few of the numerous cases that I have handled and the results that I have obtained for my clients. You should not expect to obtain these same results. Client charged with Felony DWI after striking a parked vehicle. Range of punishment was 2-10 years and prosecutor’s first offer was 5 years in prison. On eve of trial, prosecutor agreed to reduce the case to a misdemeanor DWI with punishment at time served in jail.
Client was charged with Felony DWI with child passenger in automobile after being stopped for speeding. The range of punishment was 6 months to 2 years in State Jail and prosecutor’s first offer was 9 months in State Jail. Reduced to misdemeanor DWI with punishment set at “time served”.
Client charged with second offense DWI. Range of punishment was 30 days to one year in County Jail and the prosecutor’s first offer was 6 months in county jail. Client sentenced to one year probation and given credit for time served.
Client charged with 5th DWI. Pled to misdemeanor DWI and ordered to attend in-patient counseling sessions. Credit was given for time served.
Client in high profile profession and charged with first offense DWI, which, if convicted would lead to possible loss of professional license. Range of punishment was 3 to 180 days in jail and prosecutor’s first offer was One (1) year probation with numerous conditions attached. Case dismissed.
